Depending on the seed, we grow in either Organic Soil (OMRI Canada certified), Canadian Hemp Fibre or hydroponically. We utilize Ultra Filtered (Reverse Osmosis) Georgetown water.
We use either food grade Hydrogen Peroxide &/or Essential Oils as a natural anti-fungal, pesticide & mould inhibitor. Our growing trays are hand washed with soap then submerged in a diluted bleach solution. In the summer, we often air dry them outside under the sun.
Our Seeds are sourced from Canadian Suppliers and are certified non-GMO, Organic.
We follow safe food handling procedures throughout Harvesting & Packaging utilizing masks, gloves & hand washing along with sterilization of knives & scissors.
We endeavour to use Packaging with minimal environmental impact and are always on the look-out for cost-effective solutions that mitigate our environmental footprint.
